The Hettich Mikro 200 is a compact, high-performance microcentrifuge designed to process up to 30 × 1.5/2.0 mL tubes at speeds up to 15,000 rpm, generating 21,382 g of RCF. It features a fixed-angle rotor, intuitive keypad control, ramp control (9 acceleration/deceleration stages), and memory for up to 4 user programs.

The optional Mikro 200 R version adds refrigerated capabilities (−10 °C to +40 °C), achieving down to +4 °C in 10–15 minutes. Standard features include a bio-containment lid, rotor auto-recognition, and emergency lid-lock. Noise level is ≤ 58 dB(A) for ambient and ≤ 51 dB(A) for refrigerated units.

With stainless steel rotor chamber and durable metal housing, Mikro 200 meets IVDR (EU) 2017/746 standards and includes a 5-year warranty. Ideal for PCR prep, molecular biology workflows, clinical diagnostics, and efficient processing of lipemic samples.
