MINI-PAM-II Porometer
The MINI-PAM-II Porometer is an advanced leaf-clip system combining stomatal conductance and chlorophyll a fluorescence measurements to evaluate photosynthetic performance (PSII). Its lightweight and robust design allows high-precision operation in the field, greenhouse, or laboratory.
The instrument integrates multiple sensors — for humidity, pressure, leaf temperature (infrared), CO₂ concentration, flow rate, and GPS positioning. It includes a micro-quantum PAR sensor and a fiber-optic system for precise chlorophyll fluorescence detection. The porometer quantifies water vapor conductance, transpiration rate, vapor pressure deficit (VPD), and geospatial orientation (sun incidence angle, latitude, longitude, and altitude).
Data can be viewed directly via the touchscreen or processed through WinControl-3 software. The device offers automatic stability detection, programmable light control, and compatibility with external LED light sources for actinic illumination. Powered by 6 AA rechargeable batteries, it provides up to 8 hours of continuous operation.
The MINI-PAM-II Porometer is an indispensable research tool for plant ecophysiology, enabling accurate, non-destructive analysis of gas exchange and photosynthetic responses under various environmental conditions.
