The AGILENT TapeStation Instrument 4150 is an automated platform for fast, reliable DNA and RNA quality control that replaces manual gel electrophoresis and reduces operator-dependent variability. The system uses disposable ScreenTape devices and ready-to-use reagent kits, so assay setup takes only a few minutes while virtually eliminating sample carryover and cross-contamination.
TapeStation 4150 supports a broad range of workflows: QC of genomic DNA and RNA prior to NGS, integrity assessment of total RNA and mRNA, analysis of PCR products and libraries, as well as routine processing of biobank and clinical samples. The instrument automatically generates electropherograms and gel-like images, calculates quality metrics such as RIN/RQN and DIN, fragment size and concentration, and creates comprehensive reports for documentation and accreditation.
User-friendly Agilent software provides predefined method templates, easy batch comparison, and convenient data export to common formats for LIMS and downstream bioinformatics analysis.
